SID Venture Partners, a Ukrainian venture capital fund, announces its investment in GO TO-U, a U.S.-based startup developing an operating system for managing EV charging stations. The company's headquarters is located in Los Angeles, California. The investment amount and round terms are undisclosed. With this deal, SID Venture Partners’ total investments have exceeded $6 million.

“GO TO-U is an operating system for managing EV charging infrastructure. We provide operators with intelligent tools to optimize profitability and efficiency, while drivers benefit from guaranteed charging thanks to our advanced reservation technology. With access to over 950,000 stations in 67 countries, GO TO-U is shaping the future of seamless electric mobility,” said Nazar Shymone-Davyda, CEO and Co-Founder of the project.

As a hardware-agnostic operating system, GO TO-U integrates easily with a wide range of charging stations, giving operators the freedom to choose the best hardware while maintaining a reliable and intuitive user experience.

The business package includes white-label solutions, API integration, roaming, and support for payment terminal integration. Their AI-powered analytical tool, Omni Analytics, helps operators optimize their infrastructure for maximum efficiency and profitability.

One of GO TO-U’s key innovations is its proprietary Advanced Reservation Technology (ART), which ensures a seamless charging experience for EV drivers while helping operators maximize station utilization. GO TO-U’s solutions are tailored to various business sectors, including charging operators, office buildings, fleet operators, hotels, shopping centers, and fuel stations.

The global EV charging market is rapidly expanding, fueled by rising EV adoption and increasing environmental regulations. In 2023, over 8.3 million electric vehicles were sold worldwide, a 38% increase compared to the previous year. Governments and private companies are actively investing in charging infrastructure to meet the growing demand, with analysts projecting the market to reach $155 billion by 2030.

GO TO-U’s platform is perfectly aligned with these market needs, helping operators make the most of their infrastructure while improving the everyday experience for EV owners.

“GO TO-U is a great example of how Ukrainian entrepreneurs can successfully compete in the U.S. market — even in a complex industry like EV infrastructure,” said Dmytro Vartanian, Managing General Partner at SID Venture Partners. “Their combination of deep tech expertise and business acumen has created a truly unique solution. We’ve been following their progress for quite some time, and their development gives us full confidence in their potential. Supporting visionary founders like these is at the core of our investment strategy.”

GO TO-U has previously attracted investment from global industrial leader ABB and prominent angel investors. The company works with thousands of B2B partners, including automotive manufacturers and EV infrastructure operators, and is an official member of Siemens’ EV Charging Solutions Ecosystem in the United States.
