Once upon a time, in the eucalyptus forests of Australia, there lived a curious little koala named El Tensli. Unlike the others, El wasn’t only interested in eucalyptus leaves and long naps in the sun. He was curious about the world around him, and he had always had a thing for change.
El noticed that the world was changing, even far beyond his forest. The way people produced energy was changing. The way they traveled was changing. New technologies were becoming part of everyday life. To El, these changes never seemed separate from one another. Nature, people, energy, technology, and the way we move were all connected.
That idea is also behind his name. Tensli was inspired by Arthur Tansley, the British ecologist who introduced the concept of the ecosystem – the idea that living organisms and their environment exist as parts of one interconnected system. It became a natural way for El to see the world: when one part of a system changes, it can influence everything around it.
As electric mobility began to grow, El saw another system taking shape. Moving from fossil fuels to electricity wasn’t simply about changing what powered a car. It meant connecting drivers with vehicles, vehicles with charging stations, charging stations with energy and locations, and all of those pieces with technology that could help them work together.
How El found GO TO-U
That curiosity eventually led El to GO TO-U.
It wasn’t a tree, and it wasn’t a place. It was a platform built around electric mobility, bringing different parts of EV charging together to make the experience more predictable and convenient for drivers. El recognized something familiar in it: a system built on connections.
So, as the story goes, he packed his little leaf backpack and joined GO TO-U. A koala from the eucalyptus forests had found a new role in the rapidly changing world of electric mobility.
Over the years, El became part of the GO TO-U experience. Uvers began seeing him throughout the app at different moments of their charging journey, from reservations and charging sessions to monitoring, payments, and notifications. He was there to help make the experience easier to understand and navigate, and gradually became a familiar guide for Uvers – the people moving electric.
As GO TO-U evolved, El evolved with it. His role grew alongside the technology, but the idea at the heart of his story remained the same. Drivers connect with chargers, chargers connect with locations, locations become part of journeys, and technology helps bring those connections together into something bigger.
Everything is connected.
